COVID-19 - School Closing Update #1
March 13, 2020
Dear ACA Families,
In response to the growing threat of the COVID-19 (Corona Virus), Ambassador Christian Academy is proactively closing school and calling eLearning days in an effort to mitigate the impact of the virus on our community. We value the health and safety of all students and staff and feel that this decision, while difficult, is the best course of action at this time. Additionally, our school board has affirmed such caution that warrants us to significantly alter our calendar.

-
Monday, March 23 - Friday, March 27: eLearning
-

-
Monday, April 13: School Resumes
Students have been instructed and are expected to take their resources home and follow standard E-Learning procedures as outlined by their instructors. Instructors have been preparing in the event this decision was necessary and are ready to dispense information and assignments to their students on Monday. Any updates or additional measures will be posted on ClassDojo and on our website, www.ambassadoracademy.net.
As this situation does have a degree of unpredictability, we will be monitoring and adjusting our response as things unfold. We will communicate any changes or additions as they come out through ClassDojo and our website.
Our Early Childhood (Daycare) department will ONLY be closed Monday, March 16th - Friday, March 20th. They will resume on Monday, March 23rd at the 809 W. Ridge Road building. On Monday, April 13th they will return to the 900 W. Ridge Road building. If any students come to school with cold or flu symptoms will be sent home immediately.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this uncertain time. It is not a decision we take lightly, but one that warrants our action.
Blessings,
Principal Harris.
